Emily Hine is dedicated to decreasing suffering and increasing joy through compassion and peace education.  In 2008, she made a commitment to the Dalai Lama to expand compassion education, which she writes about in this Huffington Post article. As part of this commitment, she created and hosts an annual free online Global Compassion Summit – an educational program designed to inspire, inform and involve a global audience in the compassion and peace movement. She also serves on faculty for The Shift Network where she teaches courses including: At Peace With Yourself (October 12 – November 9, 2016) and the Peace Ambassador Training (November 16 – February 8).
